1. In your Start menu, go to “Programs” then “Accessories” and click on “Paint”

2. In the menu bar at the top, click “File” then “Open” to navigate to the folder where you have your image stored, and double click on it

3. With the photo you want to re-size now showing on the screen, go to the menu bar and click “File” then “Save As”

(note: selecting “Save As” does not override the original file, whereas selecting “Save” does. You might want to keep the original should you not like the way the new lower resolution photo displays)
