Fixing Misaligned Photos in Sensualwriter and WordPress

Have you found that your used panty photos are all over your WordPress or Sensualwriter page? You might have already spent hours trying to fix the problem yourself, started from scratch, and thought that it might be you doing something wrong. There are a couple of things that you can try which may save your site. So, don’t throw in the towel too quickly!

Learn Very Little HTML

Sensualwriter uses (a very old version of) a WordPress platform. To make a long story short, they have the same text editor, basically–that window that you’ve been putting your text and pictures into.

These editors were designed to make it a bit easier for people with little or no experience to be able to post content on a website, but they are not perfect. Sometimes they add their own formatting–or basically, you see things published that you did not do yourself.

There are two views within the editor–visual and HTML–and you can switch from one to the other via the corresponding tabs directly above the window. By default, it is set to visual.

That is most likely how you have been drafting your posts and pages. If you’ve ever switched to the HTML tab you’ve seen a bunch of gobbledegook and perhaps not understood it. For the first attempt at fixing misaligned photos, you will not have to understand it entirely, but you will have to surround your content with two special things while in HTML view.

The tag needs to be typed at the beginning of your content, and the [/raw] tag typed at the end.

BEFORE YOU PUBLISH/POST, be sure to switch back to the visual view in the editor if that is the view that has been used to publish in the past. While editing in between to the two views works, publishing in one view after having previously published with the other can cause another type of headache.

Note that you will not be able to edit anything you’ve placed in between the two HTML tags while in the visual view.

Change Your Theme

Themes are just like people. Some perform (or behave!) better than others. :) If it’s not your code or text editor formatting then the theme might be the culprit for having misaligned photos.

Before selecting a new theme, back up your posts and pages as a .xml file. It’s easy; don’t worry. On both Sensualwriter and WordPress dashboards, go to ‘tools’ then ‘export’ and in one click, it’s done.

When choosing a new theme, try to get a new one that has the same structure as the one that you have been using. It will save time rearranging things after it has been activated. For instance, if you have been working with one that has side bars on both the left and right side, then chose one with the same layout.

For a new WordPress theme, go to your dashboard and click on ‘Theme’ under ‘Appearance’ in the right sidebar. You’ll be taken to a directory of too many themes to chose from. ;)

On the Sensualwriter dashboard top navigation menu, you can access themes under the “Presentation” tab. The Sensualwriter themes which seem to work best with picture-laden pages are Dixie Belle, Clasique, Blue Moon, Impact, Simpla, and Veryplaintxt.
